Mengo gives Davjan school a computer

By Joseph Mpuuga THE ministry of education in the Buganda kingdom has donated a computer to Davjan Nursery and Primary School in Ntinda. The donation was announced by the Buganda commissioner for education, Kalanzi Ssewanyana, while officiating at the school’s open day on Saturday. Kalanzi appealed to parents to keep a keen eye on the performance of schools where they take their children. “How will you know what your children can do if you do not visit them at school? How will you know whether the teachers are doing their work? The only way you can make them perform is by checking on them,” Kalanzi said.
