Student rushes for freshers, ends up with street walker

A student who had been looking forward to seeing the Makerere freshers so as to get a girlfriend had a problem last Saturday during the freshers ball at the Guild canteen. Sam, who was smartly dressed, and his pockets well lined, stormed makerere University ready to steal freshers’ souls. His eyes scanned through the crowd of the graceful, lovely young girls and eventually settled for a tall slender brown one. When he presented his “credentials” to the cute girl, she did not hesitate. she gave green light and Sam did havoc to his stuffed pockets. he bought a lot of beer in order to allay any doubts that could be lingering in the mind of his catch. However, he was very disappointed, when he tried to generate conversation and come to the point. He casually asked her which hall of residence she had been allocated and she answered, “hoolu”. “University hall?” Sam wondered. “Yeesi...Yuniversite...,” she replied confidently. Sam repeated the question carefully, but she said the same thing. At that time, he realised he had met astreet walker. To avoid embarrassment, he left unceremoniously for his hostel where he narrated his misadventure. It is quite common for men to be conned by crooks who pretend to be makerere girls while they are actually looking for a quick buck from unsuspecting men.
