MPs’ Pay Irks Winnie

KAMPALA — Mbarara Municipality MP Winnie Byanyima has said she was embarrassed that MPs increased their salaries. “Too much of our public resource is spent in a way as if we (Uganda) are rich. I was not around when this happened but it embarrassed me. She was addressing the African Women’s Economic Policy Network conference at Hotel Equatoria, yesterday. Ends
