Apac receives sh550m

By Patrick Opio THE Ministry of Finance has released over sh550m to Apac district for capacity building and development activities. The Assistant Chief Administrative Officer, Francis Ateng, told the district’s finance committee meeting recently that the total grant allocation was sh562,215,000. Ateng said sh369,268,000 was disbursed to the sub- counties while 35% (192,947,000/-) remained at the district. He said the 65% allocated to sub-counties will be independently spent by them except in capacity building, where the district staff will assist in conducting training.
