MAKINDYE — Garbage collection in Makindye division is poor due to lack of revenue. The division chairman, Deo Kijjambu, said recently that the division was facing a big problem of garbage because the residents had failed to pay taxes. “The residents have resisted paying taxes, which is limiting the disposal of garbage,” Kijjambu told The New Vision yesterday.
