X-Mass Cordon Captures 400

KASESE — Over 400 people, most of them youth, were yesterday rounded up in a massive dawn pre-Christmas cordon and search operation by security organs. The district Resident District Commissioner, Musa Ecweru, said 245 of them, including four army deserters, were remanded in Mubuku Prison. He said another 145, who were identified by local leaders but had no graduated tax tickets were ferried to the town council offices. Ends
