QUEENS WAY and Nsambya roads have re-opened after the installation of underground pipes at the Clock Tower, Kampala.

The coordinator of the Nakivubo Channel Rehabilitation Project, Tamale Kiggundu told The New Vision on Thursday that the installation of the pipes ended last week. He said the exercise would reduce flooding. “Installation of the pipes around Clock Tower has been completed. The roads have also been re-opened,” Kiggundu said. However, he said the flooding of the streets could not be controlled yet as the pipes have not yet been opened to the big channel. Ends
