Paul Kagame (pictured right) will this morning arrive in Uganda to join hundreds of Ntare School Old Boys Association for their millennium re-union day in Mbarara town. Kagame, who is an old student of Ntare School, will be the guest of honour at the function at the school, according to a press statement from State House signed by Hope Kivengere, President Yoweri Museveni's press secretary. Kagame, who is expected in the country at 12.00 o'clock, will lay a foundation stone at the school, according to the day's organisers. They said Museveni will open a computer centre for the students there at around 1.00p.m. The guests will thereafter have a luncheon before presentation of the "Lion Award" to those who have offered distinguish service to the school. Between 4.45p.m and 5.45p.m there will be a football match. Kagame and Museveni are expected to play. The winning teams will be presented with trophies, the organisers said. The day's events will end with a debate and later on a disco dance at the Lake View Hotel in the town. Mbarara town residents have in the last three days been preparing for the day, expected to attract hundreds of people from all walks of life. Security has been stepped up with the deployment of the Police, army and the LDUs.
