By Fred Nangoli WEATHERHEAD club at the weekend proved their dominance in league when they lifted double Asiatic national hockey titles at Lugogo. The champions finished top of the league table with 18 points while their ladies were outstanding on the female side with six. They downed defending champions Wanainchi 2-1 to capture their second victory after the 1998 win. Wanainchi were pushed to third place with 11 points while Sadolin proved fairly upcoming by grabing second place with 12 points. The league was initiated in 1998 under the organization of Uganda Hockey Association (UHA) when Weatherhead first won but failed to defend the title in 1999 losing it to Wanainchi. Kampala Asiatic sports house sponsored the tournament. Ends.
