NATIONAL champions SC Villa and bogey side Simba meet today in their last Nile Special Super league game.

* League champions wind up season with Simba tie By William Muwonge NATIONAL champions SC Villa and bogey side Simba meet today in their last Nile Special Super league game. SC Villa, fresh from an historic fifth league and Kakungulu Cup double win, face the army side at Nakivubo stadium. Nakivubo will also host the last two games of the league due to end on Friday. Relegated Arua meet former champions KCC tomorrow and will be back against Police in last game of the season on Friday. Off the pitch, the National Football League Committee (NFLC) is yet to decide the fate of two matches that aborted recently. Military did not honour their away game against Arua just like Iganga who were due to meet SCOUL at Lugazi. "We are about to come up with a decision on these matches," NLFC administrative secretary Aisha Nalule said yesterday. Villa, who won a record twelfth league title last Thursday before taking the Sportsman Kakungulu Cup on Saturday to complete a double, are again up against the Simba hard challenge. But Villa, forced to a 2-2 first round draw by Simba, have nothing to lose today. Instead, a win would hand Simba a more respectable finish. The side that survived relegation after edging Express 2-1 ten days ago, would move from eighth to fourth position on the table. Arua who crashed 5-0 against Villa on Monday have nothing to fight for in their last two games. KCC, who showed glimpses of their past form in the 7-0 humiliation of Health on Monday could have the upperhand today against the Arua municipality side. Police could also face little trouble in the last game of the season tomorrow. League sponsors Nile Breweries will meanwhile offer cash rewards to all 16 teams that completed the 2000 season. The awards will be held tomorrow at the UMA conference hall -Nakawa. Today: Simba v SC Villa Tomorrow: Arua v KCC Friday: Police v Arua - last game Nile Special Super League 2000. Ends.
