By Elizabeth Kameo Sergio S. Lukanga, a resident of Jinja, is the lucky winner of the second New Vision and Musicraft Winner takes it Home Competition. Lukanga, a resident of Kutch Road, who won a tabletop gas cooker, is the first upcountry winner in the ongoing 10-week competition. The first week's winner was Janet Akiror Okanya, a nurse in Kampala. Musicraft's Manager Retail Service Lawrence Mukama yesterday morning drew Lukanga's winning entry. Over 30,000 entries were received for this week's draw which took place at Musicraft's retail shop on Kampala Road. Musicraft's manager Sam Ikopit said the public had shown great interest in the competition. "So far, we have marked an increase in our sales and an increase in the number of people who come into our shop since the competition started, which is one of our aims," he said. Ikopit urged upcountry readers to participate in the competition in order to win. "So far, the competition is very successful," he said. New vision's Sales Executive Rhona Kanabahita said there was a big response to the competition. "We have had an overwhelming response and would like to thank our customers and encourage them to continue participating in the competition," she said. Kanabahita said the competition was New Vision's way of giving value to its readers. She said Lukanga should collect his prize on November 24, from the Musicraft Hire Purchase shop on Kampala Road. Ends.
