By Douglas Mazune EXPRESS FC's new English coach Eddie May wants his team to shift from the low standard King Mutesa II stadium Wankulukuku to a better stadium. May who featured on Sport On, a leading television sports programme on WBS TV on Sunday, said Wankulukuku was not suitable for a big team of Express' standard. "If Express wants to be a great club, the facilities at that ground (Wankulukuku) are not good enough. In light of the fact that their players might be going professional, they should not train there," May said at the programme hosted by leading sports journalists. May, who took over at Wankulukuku last week, said the pitch is not level and the grass is not properly mowed. "I have not been to Mandela National Stadium (Namboole), but I hear it is very good and I am told there are other better fields elsewhere, I would love to see us move to a better place," he said. The coach, who described himself as a disciplinarian, said he has issued new rules to players and introduced financial fines for players who fail to conform. Express chairman technical committee Kassim Buyondo yesterday told The New Vision that May has already discussed with them the idea of changing home ground and the club would on Thursday take a decision on the matter. Buyondo said the coach advised them that the change of venue from the distant Wankulukuku would increase the number of fans who attend daily training and actual matches. Ends.
