A year or so ago word went out that Bebe Cool’s son, Alpha Thierry, was going to Arsenal’s football academy. Now Bobi Wine has joined the foray. He has declared that his son, Kampala Solomon Walakira, is also set to study at a music school in the US. Bobi Wine claims the local education system does not empower students with survival skills, considering the number of high school graduates who “cannot do anything”.

You remember the BMW convertible that mysterious tycoon Meddie Sentongo gave singer Jose Chameleone? Well, the star says he is fed up of people hounding him about the incident. Last Saturday, he stormed out of Club Silk when a fan asked why Chameleone did not get new number plates for the Beemer. Apparently, the star just picked the personalised number plates ‘MAYANJA’, from his ML Benz and placed them on the convertible. Chameleone’s fans were asking if he was too broke to afford new personalised plates.

Snoops have finally sussed the guy responsible for Rena Nalumansi’s six-month pregnancy. He is Hassan Kyazze, a UK-based Ugandan accountant. The lovebirds met in 2009 at Pier One, a popular nightspot in London, where Rena (right) had gone to perform. Kyazze last came to Uganda in August and shortly afterwards news started flying that Rena was bulging. The guy calls Rena about half a dozen times during the day. So, shame on all those who have been pointing at Henry Tigan. We hear that Rena and Kyazze are planning a kwanjula as soon as the baby is born.

As the Save Us From Chameleone campaign by Mowzey and Weasel was fading out, artistes Vamposs, now known as Vampino and Diamond Oscar of the Omuwala Mulungi Nyo fame stoked the flames with a song, Take it easy. The song is aimed at teaching Chameleone a lesson on how to relate with others and avoid fights with fellow artistes. Both singers have ever been beaten up by Jose Chameleone.
