How do you feel about being an MP?
It doesn’t feel any different, but people always bring it out, especially whenever they congratulate me or address me as honorable.

Are you not worried that your new status reduces your husband catchment area?
I am no longer casting my net because I have someone in my life. So, there is no need to worry.

Who is the lucky guy?
Moses is his name. He is a lawyer, but also does business. He is a very interesting man.

On the first day he told me I was beautiful, on the second day, he commended my intelligence, then the third day, he praised my character and during the campaigns, he said he admired my determination.

Actually every day, Moses sees something new about me.

And you?
Moses stole my heart because he is handsome, loving, caring and he is always there for me.

Two lawyers under the same roof! Won’t we have a courtroom?
At the moment we do not have any problem and in our private life, our profession does not interfere.

Politics is known to break marriages. What strategy do you have to protect your relationship from the inconveniences of politics?
Before joining politics, I discussed it with him and he gave me a green light. Besides, I plan not to mix politics with my relationship. In this regard, communication is essential for success. I will keep him posted of my whereabouts and he will surely know when to expect me back. I will also pray to God for harmony.

What inspired you into politics?
Being a new district, I felt there was need for a strong woman as MP. Besides, I had always longed to serve my people.

Did your beauty contribute to your popularity?
Maybe yes and partly no. But I think I attribute my victory to my good manifesto. My voters were convinced because l had a message of hope and they believed I could serve them better.

If the President was to appoint you a minister, which ministry would you prefer?
I would prefer the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, because it is in line with my profession.
