The project is in a bid to wade off the looming threats of hunger. They included 3,000 kilogrammes of soya bean, 2,000 kilogrammes of beans and 1,480 kilogrammes of maize. Migereko distribted the seeds over the weekend.
He urged farmers in the region to take advantage of the current rains to grow crops for food security. Migereko told farmers that time for politicking was over and urged them to concentrate on recovering the time lost during the campaigns.
