I have chronic mouth wounds

ONE of the causes of mouth wounds is infections which may be viral, fungal or bacterial. Depending on the cause, the sores vary in colour, size and location. Wounds that appear at the angles of the mouth are most likely a result of lack of Vitamin B.

Dear Doctor,
I have always had wounds in my mouth every after two weeks.
I do not know what causes this.

For how long have the wounds been there? Does it affect the oesophagus which presents with pain while swallowing? See a doctor who will run a couple of tests, including HIV. The treatment depends on the doctor’s findings.
