THE Uganda Golf Union (UGU) has registered the country’s premier golf event, the Uganda Open, as an entity whose shareholding is vested in the membership of the union.

THE Uganda Golf Union (UGU) has registered the country’s premier golf event, the Uganda Open, as an entity whose shareholding is vested in the membership of the union.
Consequently, this year’s edition of the annual tournament will attract more sponsors and be managed professionally following a memorandum of understanding UGU signed with Karamu Afrika, an event management firm yesterday.
UGU president John Kisembo and Karamu Afrika boss Len Ogembo signed the three-year deal witnessed by union secretary Johnson Omollo.
