Sanity prevails finally
EDITOR - The confusion and counter accusations that have surrounded Uganda’s preparation for the All Africa Games is very disturbing, to say the least.

The sports ministry’s Dan Tamwesigire set off the bizarre events by announcing that Uganda would field a team of four competitors and four officials.

But after the uproar that followed, sanity finally prevailed when the powers that be decided to increase the size of the team to 92.

I wonder if Tamwesigire knew how much money FUFA had spent on the Kobs qualifying campaign before deciding to lock them out of the games.

I was very disappointed by FUFA change of plan
EDITOR - I was very disappointed by FUFA’s decision to abandon the plan of ferrying Ugandan supporters to Luanda for an African Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola.

I had started putting aside some money in order to travel to Luanda only to learn recently that the plan had been shelved.

My hope is that one of the Supersport channels or Uganda Broadcasting Corporation television will get us a live telecast of the match.
