SINCE her shot at the just-ended M-Net reality show Big Brother Amplified, Mama Lisbon aka Sharon Salmon Nalukenge has been such a highlight in most of the media in East Africa. She has travelled across Africa in a few weeks and just upon one of her arrivals from abroad, Blitz hijacked her to hang out with one of her diehard fans – Aine Van Data, a social worker and dancehall artiste. They met at her video shoot in Bwebajja and Duncan Kushaba talked to him shortly after.

See, this Sharon girl is unbelievably beautiful. In fact, she is a lot more beautiful in person than on TV. She actually gave me more attention than I expected. Maybe my pretty boy swag and magic worked tricks on her?

She answered all my questions just the way I wanted her to. Of course the dudes, who had a crush on her in the Big Brother house had to come into the picture – I am talking about Michael, the Mozambican, and Lomwe, the Malawian. She denied anything romantic with them, although she blushed much on this specific issue. She told me the whole Big Brother thing was a blessing and that because of it she has been to places she never dreamt of going. For instance, she had just landed from Nigeria, and that in a few days she is off to South Africa for different gigs in which she will be paid. She told me she also has Malawi and Ethiopia on her calendar.
I saw you pull her aside, what were you getting private about?
I had to pull her aside because her boyfriend Ronnie was around, yet I didn’t want words to escape from my mouth with him around lest I got myself a broken nose. See, I am human, and anyone would say anything in front of a beauty like her. I am still confused, I guess I need a beer.
You don’t plan on hitting on someone’s woman, right?
Honestly, I can’t rule that out. But I have respect for little Lisbon and Ronnie, so I will hang in there – for now.
