1. The Office of the President wishes to develop a shortlist of bidders to participate in the tender for Managing and Operation of a Staff Canteen.

2. Office of the President invites sealed bids for expression of interest (EOI) from competent firms for Managing and Operation of a Staff Canteen. The providers shall be invited to participate in a competitive restricted tender to run after short listing.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the shortlist/prequalification procedures contained in the Government of Uganda Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003.

4. You may obtain other information from the Procurement and Disposal Unit and inspect the EOI or Pre-qualification documents at address given below in No. 7(a) from December 19, 2011 at 9.00a.m – 4.00p.m.

5. A complete set of EOI or Pre-qualification documents in English will be issued free of charge at the address given below in No. 7(b) starting on December 19, 2011 from 8.30a.m. to 4.30p.m. EOI or Prequalification documents shall be picked by hand by the bidder from the address given in No. 7(b). No Liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.

6. Bids expressing interest must be delivered to the address given below in No. 7(c) or before 02.00 p.m. on January 18, 2012. Late EOI documents shall be rejected. EOI documents from Providers shall be opened in the Cabinet Library 3rd Floor at Parliamentary Building at 02.30 pm on January 18, 2012 in the presence of bidders who wish to attend.

7. (a) Address documents may be inspected at the: Procurement Disposal Unit, Development House, Ground floor; Room4.

(b) Address documents shall be issued at the address 7(a) above.

(c) Address bids must be delivered to the Procurement Disposal Unit, Development House, Ground floor; Room 4.
