SHANITA Namuyimbwa alias 'Bad Black' will spend the night behind bars despite being granted bail at the Anti-Corruption Court

SHANITA Namuyimbwa alias 'Bad Black'  will spend the night behind bars despite being granted bail at the Anti-Corruption Court in Kololo Wednesday afternoon.

She has been sent back for confinement to Luzira Prison because one of her sureties brought her passport for deposit late.

For bail to be granted, one of the conditions was to deposit her passport with court. However, Black's Namuyimbwa's passport was brought in late. She is expected to leave the prison tomorrow (Thursday).

Namuyimba arrived at the court Wednesday morning donning a black Hijab (Moslem attire) with a composed look cutting across her face. She alit from a police car guarded by a male and two female prison wardens.

Bad Black alights from the Prison's vehicle as two female wardens look on.

Anti-corruption judge Paul Mugamba deferred the matter on Monday this week to provide State more time to verify the authenticity of the land title Namuyimba’s sureties presented to Court.

The land title presented by her sureties was in the names of Tucker Ngobi Mugogo.

Here, she looks amused by something as she walks to the court, now with three prison wardens on guard.

Last week the same court denied Namuyimbwa bail after she failed to present credible sureties.

Black is charged with embezzlement and it is alleged that she stole over sh11b belonging to her British lover and a business associate David Halghgreen.
