FORMER Vice President, Prof Gilbert Balibaseka Bukenya has been nominated to run for election as MP for Busiro North.
FORMER Vice President, Prof Gilbert Balibaseka Bukenya has been nominated to run for election as MP for Busiro North.
Bukenya's election as MP for Busiro North constituency in the February 2011 elections was cancelled by High Court last month(October) over bribery allegations from his opponent, Hussein Kasta Bukenya.
Today(Monday), the ex-VP has a reason to smile after receiving a nod for his nomination.
Atop his vehicle, Bukenya was escorted by several of his supporters after his nomination in Kakiri, Wakiso district.
