No incidents have been reported yet as regards the A'level examinations that kicked off today (Monday) morning across the country with Biology and Economics.

About 100,300 students are registered to sit this year's final exams at various UNEB-registered centres in Uganda.

Like in the recent years, UNEB this year also stepped up its role in ensuring high level of security and curbing of examination malpractices. Before then, some schools would miss examination materials, while others suffered delayed deliveries.

The number of students registered to sit the A'level examinations has grown over the past years. In 2006, about 700,000 students were registered to sit the final papers.

Last year (2010), the number had ballooned to about 101,000 students registered for the national exam.
