Ugandans join global forum

Three Ugandans have been selected to a global financial forum.John Muwanga, the Auditor General, Stephen Emasu, the World Bank public finance expert, Richard Byarugaba, the NSSF chief were recommended to the Global Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) body by the country office.

THREE Ugandans have been selected to a global financial forum.

John Muwanga, the Auditor General, Stephen Emasu, the World Bank public finance expert, Richard Byarugaba, the NSSF chief were recommended to the Global Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) body by the country office.

The trio will serve for  two years on the forum.
Jackie Mbabazi, ACCA Uganda executive assistant, said the forum helps to identify issues of significance in the accountancy profession and to work to influence government, policy makers and businesses.

The 10 new global forums were launched by ACCA to bring together expertise from all sectors around the world to tackle issues crucial to the finance profession and business.
