A woman alleged to have abused a 14year old boy is in Police custody in the eastern district of Soroti.

A woman alleged to have abused a 14year old boy is in Police custody in the eastern district of Soroti.
This lady, a mother of four allegedly lured the 14-year- old boy into sex.
She is a resident of Moruapesur suburb in Soroti Municipality and is said to have committed the offence on August 24.
The victim names withheld is a second born in a family of six and a primary school pupil.
His mother reported to Police that the alleged lady hired his son to build a hut at her home and later lured him into sex.
“It was too scandalous and I have not recovered from the shock. What if she is HIV positive?†a puzzled mother of the victim said with tears rolling down.
Soroti Mid-Eastern Police spokesman Hassan Nyene said a defilement case with a reference number of CRB 987/2011 has been opened.
He however, noted that if tested HIV positive, the lady will be charged with aggravated defilement which attracts a death sentence or life imprisonment.
