Koboko passes sh1.5b budget
Koboko town council last week approved a sh1.5b budget for the 2011/2012 financial year. The finance secretary, Charles Akimu, presented the budget during a session at the town council hall. He noted that most departments received less funds because of the cuts by the central Government. He said the road fund, local government management and service delivery, the water fund and unconditional funds suffered the worst cuts. He urged the affected departments to adjust to the new challenges.
