“PLAN Your Wedding in a Day”, the slogan for the third Bride and Groom Expo, was action-packed with a showcase of fashion and glamour. It attracted over 100 exhibitors.

The adorable child models looked stunning in pretty eye-catching white frocks. Some bubble dresses were enhanced with petal detail on the hemline to add a punch of colour.

The fashion shows depicted trends that are sassy, elegant and practical for today’s bride and groom.

The intimacy wardrobe was sizzling, with King Spark showcasing lingerie to light up those romantic moments.

Under garments that make the bride lose up to three sizes in 10 minutes were a big attraction at the Adyss International stall.

For the workshops, it was a celebration of intimacy in marriage, with couples sharing knowledge on enhancing relationships.

The popular rib-cracking Senga sessions by Elizabeth Masaba were food for thought. A service provider of counselling services for women, she taught women how to ‘catch him’ and ‘keep him’.

Uganda Travel Bureau offered a free four-day honeymoon package for couples intending to marry this year and next year.

The third expo, which started on Friday and ended yesterday at UMA Show Grounds, Lugogo, attracted over 5,000 people. The three days were full of activity, people from all walks of life flocking the stalls for a buy that would make a perfect ceremony.

This Bride & Groom Expo celebration of marriage was sponsored by V&A, SMS Media, Darling, Pepsi and Profam.
