Dott Services' excuse is lame

EDITOR: In an article published recently, it was reported that the Jinja Kamuli highway construction will be delayed because of the rampant theft of concrete and fuel by the residents.
EDITOR: In an article published recently, it was reported that the Jinja Kamuli highway construction will be delayed because of the rampant theft of concrete and fuel by the residents.
Although it is illegal and criminal on the part of the residents, it is also curious that the Police does not know about the matter. The contractor, Dott Services, should ensure security of its materials.
The mere fact that the Police are not aware of the matter demonstrates lack of responsibility. This should not be an excuse for failure to complete the road in the agreed time. The onus is on Dott Services to protect what they must.
