The Kiira EV SMACK is the first Electric Hybrid Vehicle designed and built in Africa. On Thursday, it set off on a test drive to northern Uganda, two months after trying out the western route.
In Pakwach, the sleek black five-seater car attracted the attention of excited residents, who thronged the streets to roar it on.
The Beast then arrived in Arua. Former minister Sandy Stevens Tickodri-Togboa, the executive chairman of Kiira Motors Corporation, was there.
The Kiira EV Project is commited to delivering top-notch technology that it hopes every customer of the Kiira EV SMACK will fall in love with and appreciate.
The car has power Seats, windows and mirrors as well as air conditioning.
