Fashion was at its best as Miss Tourism 2022 contestants showcased all types of designs on the runway at the grand finale at the Kampala Serena Hotel on Friday, September 23.

Sydney Nabulya Kavuma from Buganda region won Miss Tourism, while the first-runnner up was Consolata Moru from Karamoja region and second runner-up Denis Ayebare (Kigezi region).

The glitz and glamour was courtesy of designers such as Sky Style and Mickey Dad.

The contestants exhibited fashion based on climate change, and also advocating for tourism at large.

Many dressed in recycled plastics, polythene bags, bark cloth, animal skins, and bird feathers, while others wore gorilla masks.
