After the FIM Africa Motocross of African Nations, racers will use the MAU Challenge 6 on September 11 to prepare for the Armed Forces Motocross Championship in October.
According to MAU secretary Julius Bukenya, the event is part of the calendar they put on hold for last weekend’s FIM Motocross Championship.
Racers Fortune Sentamu, Ali Omar, Stav Orland, Aviv Orland, Wazir Omar, Waleed Omar, Milton Akaaki, and Jeremiah Mawanda who did not race in the FIM MXoAN, have all confirmed their participation.
The parent of a rider who preferred anonymity told New Vision Sport; “It is going to be massive. I know people are going to use their latest bikes they had bought for FIM MXoAN for the first time.”
MAU treasurer Peter Ndiwalana added that the racers must not only test their new bikes but also familiarise themselves with the upgraded track.
Gift Sebuguzi who is Africa’s reigning champion in the 85cc is set to face his toughest race yet as Alon Orland, Milton Akaki, Jeremiah Mawanda, and Waleed Omar await to challenge him in the MX125cc class.
