Golola sparked off the brawl labelling ‘General Fungu’ an amateur and a destitute before sending him a warning of how is going to knock him out in the second round.

“Who is this Fungu to stand in my way? I have heard you on several occasions warning how you are to retire me but you are an amateur to defeat Golola,” Golola said.

“I’m a world champion who has stood my ground for years. I promise you won’t survive me by the second round.”

But Keeya who looked unbothered by Golola’s verbal warnings hit back at the motor-mouthed fighter.

“Who doesn’t know that you are full of words but not actions. I know you as Golola Moses of Bigambo not of Uganda like you call yourself. Let me repeat this for the last time, I’m going to retire you," Keeya said.

“You have dodged me for the last five years but finally God has answered my prayers. I’m going to teach you a lesson that you won’t forget in your entire life.”

Pastor Patrick Mugambagye of Ntinda Jerusalem Healing Ministries and the matchmaker of this fight said, “We have started with Golola but our plan in combat sports is to groom talents from the grassroots, and help them turn into responsible citizens”.

Keeya believes his ring record which stands at 10 fights with only one loss gives him an edge.

Keeya’s highlight in his kickboxing career was knocking out maverick Shariff Bukenya in 2016 as well as winning the four-man kickboxing contest in Kenya.
