BUL FC head coach Alex Isabirye will work with a mix of youth and experience in a bid to help the club win its first-ever league title.

The former Cranes striker who guided the team to last season’s Uganda Cup crown has added youngsters Joshua Okiror and Paul Ssekulima from Proline and Mbale Heroes respectively.

After securing the signatures, Isabirye said he is intent on freshening up his side’s attack.

"I am still building a team of youths and experienced heads that will help us play a balanced game. Okiror is one of those talented and disciplined youngsters who understand the game well. Ssekulima as well brings us a great deal of experience despite his age,” said Isabirye.

"I won the Uganda Cup with Proline and that is history. Now that I have decided to write a new chapter in life. I have come to get to the next level of challenging for the league title and that is to play for BUL, a team that I feel has what it takes to challenge for the title," said the 22-year-old Okiror.

Ssekulima netted nine goals and chipped in with seven assists that helped save Busoga United from relegation last season after which he joined eastern region league side Mbale Heroes.

BUL lies in second position on the Uganda Premier League table.
