Uganda celebrated World Teachers Day on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Kololo Independence Grounds.

World Teachers Day is marked on October 5 annually.

The event was graced by President Yoweri Museveni and First Lady Janet Museveni who doubles as the Minister of Education and Sports.

Vision Group also used this opportunity to award 12 teachers who won the Teachers Making a Difference 2022 competition.
