This was in his remarks at the celebrations for the National Water and Sewerage Corporation's (NWSC) 50 years of service, which were held at the Kololo Ceremonial Grounds in Kampala on Friday, December 2, 2022.

The corporation says they have extended water to 18 million people in the country and hope to improve access to clean and safe water.

However, NWSC managing director Silver Mugisha said  NWSC is struggling to maintain a constant flow of water in some parts of Kampala as the current network cannot carry enough water at constant pressure to all clients.
