Winfred Nakanjako, a doctor attached to Mulago National Referral Hospital has been found after she went missing on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. 

Edward Kato, a family member, who reported the matter at Old Kampala Police Station on Wednesday after Nakanjako went missing, has confirmed that she's been found.  

“She was depressed but had not shared what she was going through with family members. She decided to drive out of her home and went to her friend’s home. When she learnt we were looking for her, she contacted us,” Kato said.

Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango in a statement released this afternoon said: “Police in Old Kampala Division were looking for Nakanjako who disappeared from her home at Kinonya zone, Masanafu Lubya parish, Rubaga Division in Kampala district," Onyango said.

Onyango said the doctor went missing from her home in Masanafu on Wednesday, February 1, at about 1:30 pm.

Nakanjako is married to Dr Henry Ssemwanga [and are blessed] with one daughter.
