There is s common belief that dark-skinned brides are more difficult to make up than light-skinned brides.
Sabira Namuli has been in the makeup business as an artist for many years and has this to say.
"Dark or light-skinned, a bride will look good with make-up. The disparity in execution is in the make-up artist's hand. Some are more inclined to lighter skin and find it easier to work with, while others work better with darker shades. But ideally, a good make-up artist should be able to execute both equally well," she explains.
With so many mushrooming makeup artists, Namuli shares how to tell the experts from the amateurs and offers guidance on how to choose one for yourself as a bride and your entourage in a detailed interview.
Catch these details tomorrow (Sunday, Febuary 05) on urban TV at 3 to 4 pm on the Bride and groom TV show.
