MUKONO - It was an emotional Sunday morning as Christians in Mukono Diocese bid farewell to Bishop James William Ssebaggala.

The Province of Church of Uganda confirmed Ssebagala’s retirement in March, this year, after he clocked the Church's mandatory retirement age of 65 years.

This prompted the Mukono Diocesan synod to appoint a 15-member committee to identify two potential successors. The search of the new Bishop is still ongoing.
