Gospel singer Martin Sseku has hit the studio and released a song titled Liberate Us.

According to Sseku, Liberate Us is a political song that calls upon young Christian voters to take part in the change of the Government of Uganda.

Over the years after his research, Sseku found out that most of the young Christian voters want a change of government but they don’t want to vote.

“The Christian community wants to leave people like Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine and Dr Kizza Besigye among other individuals to fight for change of government and then after they only come in to enjoy the Nation” Sseku says. He goes on to add that Christians need to be fully involved and also take part in voting since it is the only way they can get the change that they have always yearned for.

Sseku says that these young Christians should by now know that change begins with them and they are the people most affected by the high cost of living, corruption, and lack of jobs among other issues.

In the song, Sseku prays for God the highest to liberate us from corruption, and the high cost of living. He prays for freedom for Uganda to become a better Nation.

He wrote the song, recorded, mixed, and mastered it from his studio called Sseku Music Production. Martin Sseku has been doing music for more than 10 years and in his entire career, he has released songs like Shine Shine, Koona Endongo, Ndayide, Katukyekole, Nasuze Mukidongo, and Siritya among others. Liberate Us is his latest song.
