Sserunjogi got 39 votes beating his opponent Gordon Gumisiriza who received 17 votes.

Nasser Sserunjogi has retained his seat as president of the Federation of Uganda Basketball Association (FUBA).
Sserunjogi got 39 votes beating his opponent Gordon Gumisiriza who received 17 votes.
Shortly after being announced as president for the next four years, Sserunjongi thanked members for trusting him with their votes.

“I thank you for trusting me with the new term. I request you to work with us, we have pillars that we have built so far, and we want to combine them to develop basketball, and in case of new ideas, let us work together instead of being in corridors,” stated Sserunjogi.

In another contest, A1 Challenge’s Racheal Atuhaire beat Mariam Birungi for the FUBA Commissioner for Women.
Other executive members include Hudson Ssegamwenge (Vice President Administration), Baker Kyambadde(VP Technical), Aggrey Mbonye(VP Finance), Arnold Katabi(VP Marketing media and publicity) while was Patricia Ayebare was also duly elected as Commissioner for youth.
