Parliament has given the Government up to Tuesday next week, to brief the House on the deployment of Uganda People's Defence Forces in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Uganda has deployed in DR Congo to flash out the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) after the neighbours to the west gave the green light.

However, MPs expressed reservations about the deployment saying the government ought to have gotten approval from Parliament.

Speaking during Thursday's plenary, Kira Municipality MP Ssemujju Nganda, implored the Government to brief Parliament about the deployment.

In response, Deputy Speaker Anita Among assured the MPs that the Government would brief the House next week.
