All eyes will be on Police FC who are winless in their six opening league games this season when they take on Mbarara City at the MTN Omondi Stadium Lugogo.

The cops are rock bottom in the 16 team league table with zero points, managing only two goals and conceding nine leaving them with a negative seven as their goal difference.

In their last defeat away in Arua to Onduparaka, head coach Abdullah Mubiru was sent off for protesting some of the referee's decisions.

In that same game, Police defender Yusuf Ssozi was shown a red card for a challenge on Onduparaka's Ahmed Amayo.

This means that Mubiru won't be available to command his charges on the touchline which could add more misery to their already sorry state.

Police started the season with a 0-2 defeat at home to Vipers SC, next was a 2-1 away defeat to BUL, 0-1 home loss to Wakiso Giants, 1-0 away defeat to SC Villa, 1-2 defeat to Express and lastly a 1-0 away loss to Onduparaka in Arua City.

Looking at the table standings, one would conclude that Police are playing poorly. However, that's not the case. They play attacking football, create chances but are still unlucky to get a win.

Head coach Abdullah Mubiru is still confident of finding a solution to the challenges the team is facing on the pitch at the moment.

"I am sorry to the fans and those that wish the Police well, honestly, the results are bad but we are doing everything possible to improve. Only that luck hasn't been on our side. The lads are giving their best and I see positives in every game. The situation will change very soon," Mubiru promised.

The visitors too haven't looked good in their six games, they have lost three in a row.

Elsewhere, league leaders, KCCA FC take on giant-killers Arua Hill SC at the Barifa Stadium in Arua City.

The newly-promoted side has so far gunned down Express FC and URA FC. Important to remember that Express is defending champion, and URA were runners-up last season.

Former KCCA FC and Soltilo Bright Stars forward Samuel Kayongo Ssekamatte is known for scoring against big sides. Morley Byekwaso and his charges need to be aware of his threat.
