The Democratic Party (DP)  has called for a meeting with members of the Party Parliamentary Caucus and the National Executive Committee (NEC).

According to the DP President, Norbert Mao, the meeting is aimed at discussing and mainstreaming the party's core values.

" I was honoured today to officially open the DP Leadership Retreat for the Parliamentary Caucus and the National Executive Committee," Mao said in a Twitter post on Sunday.

"The aim is to reposition our party to sustain the fight for its core values which are also mainstream values of most Ugandans," he said.
