The Bishop Emeritus of Namirembe Anglican Diocese, the Rt. Rev. Samuel Balagadde Ssekkadde, praised Susanne for her deep commitment to Christian salvation.
Daniel Rutiba, who spoke on behalf of the children, called her mother a mirror of love and generosity.
“Mummy loved people. She related freely with common people as well as powerful people. Her home was like a warehouse, always full of relatives, friends and needy children.”

“Mummy was a very committed Christian. She loved the Lord with all her heart. Even when she became too weak to walk to church, she invited clerics/preachers to minister to her in her home.”
