In the previous swearing’s, over 90,000 people have been participating in the ceremony.

“We have decided to pin Museveni’s posters in all the divisions making up Kampala district with messages congratulating him for winning the 2021 highly contested elections,” Kaggwa said.

Kaggwa said Museveni is the best leader Uganda has ever had since independence.

“We are going to ensure that the celebrations go on well as planned. We shall not allow anyone to interfere with them,” said Kaggwa.

Kaggwa has also appealed to NRM supporters to use their Facebook pages, WhatsApp, Twitter and other social media platforms to congratulate Museveni and also jubilate his victory.

Ibrahim Buyinza revealed that they are planning to slaughter 25 bulls in Kampala on the day Museveni will take oath.

“Five bulls will be slaughtered in each division making up Kampala, thanking Museveni for the tremendous contribution made since he came into power in 1986,” said Buyinza.

Prince Juma Kayima, warned those planning to distabalise Museveni’s swearing to be ready for the consequence.

“We have heard about a group of a few youths threatening to distabalise the swearing in. We are putting them on notice that we shall not allow them. We are ready to deal with you and it is better to abandon it,” said Kayima.

On his part, Sam Kisaame said they are ready for the celebration and each sub county has planned different events that conform with the ministry of health guidelines.

“We are going to divide ourselves into different groups due to COVID-19 and we jubilate Museveni’s victory,” said Tuyisenge.
