ACCRA - Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has named a 24-man squad for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Uganda on September 5 and Togo, five days later.

Sixteen of the players -- including Asamoah Gyan and Andre and Jordan Ayew -- were retained from the squad which played at the World Cup.

Fatau Dauda (Chippa United/RSA), Braimah Razak (Mirandes/ESP), Stephen Adams (Aduana Stars/GHA)

Defenders: Daniel Opare (Porto/POR), Harrison Afful (Espérance Tunis/TUN), Awal Mohammed (Maritzburg/RSA), Baba Rahman (Augsburg/GER), Jeffery Schlupp (Leicester City/ENG), John Boye (Erciyesspor/TUR) Jonathan Mensah (Evian/FRA)

Midfielders:
Emmanuel Agyeman Badu (Udinese/ITA), Rabiu Mohammed (Krasnodar/RUS), Yusif Chibsah (Sassuolo/ITA), Kwadwo Asamoah (Juventus/ITA), Mubarak Wakaso (Rubin Kazan/RUS), Christian Atsu (Everton/ENG), Solomon Asante (T.P.
