KFC opens new branch in Entebbe’s Victoria mall

Entebbe, 31 July 2014 – Popular fast food joint Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) has opened its third branch in Entebbe today with all the trimmings. The ribbon cutting was done by EA franchise owner Simon Schaffer & Uganda General Manager Carol Taylor.

The other two branches are located at the Village Mall, Bugolobi and Acacia Mall, Kisementi. The first and second KFC branches were opened late last year and early 2014 respectively and today saw hoards of fans queuing in the youthful store interior just to get a taste of the famous Kentucky Fried Chicken.

The media were treated to an official ‘Back of House’ tour of the restaurant, so that they can see for themselves what goes into KFC’s freshly prepared Original Recipe Chicken Whether you are looking for a hangout with your friends, spending time with your family, looking for a treat or want something quick filling, & great tasting, you will find it on the KFC   menu.

Speaking at the opening, KFC Uganda Franchise owner, Simon Schaffer, stressed KFC’s commitment to bringing   value meal deals closer to its customers in Entebbe as well as localising the menu to include the best of the market while adding a KFC touch. 

KFC is well positioned to meet customer needs, whether they are snacking as a group of young hip Ugandans or planning for a family meal and we are excited to be in Entebbe!
