National Basketball League

Men (Today, YMCA)

Vegetarians v KIU

Rhinos v Power

GAMES in the Airtel National Basketball League (ANBL) this season have been harder to predict because the so-called underdogs have defied the odds on several occassions.

But as the Vegetarians and Charging Rhinos face the KIU Titans and TigerHead Power respectively today at the YMCA, the question is whether this trend will continue.

Further still, is this unpredictability an indication that the gap between the top and bottom halves of the NBL is closing?

Only time will tell. But as for today, the odds are largely in favour of title contenders KIU and Power.

Still, the Vegetarians and Rhinos have learnt that what was nearly impossible in seasons is now probable.
