Vipers are quitting their current home in Buikwe for a new one in Nakawuka, Wakiso district south of Kampala in search of a stronger fan base.

Vipers secretary Haruna Kyobe, said that the club had acquired a five acre piece of land for the multi-million shilling project. The club will put up a modern 25,000-seater stadium that is expected to be complete in the next three years.

“It is true we are planning to move again. This is because we want a stronger fan base for Vipers. We have not got the anticipated fans’ response to the club in Buikwe and we believe we should try it elsewhere,” Kyobe explained.
