The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has appointed Prof Mary Jossy Nakandha Okwakol as its interim chairperson, pending the appointment of substantive office bearer.
 
Prof Okwakol is the founding Vice Chancellor of Busitema University, the fifth largest public institution of higher education in Uganda.
 
Okwakol was appointed Monday at an extraordinary board meeting held at UNEB headquarters in Ntinda, Kampala.
